On a globally distinguished scientific day, Bab El Shaareya Hospital was graced by the presence of the renowned German expert, Professor Steven Hellinger, who specializes in endoscopic spinal surgeries. His visit was part of an international exchange of expertise and collaboration. Professor Hellinger was accompanied by a team of skilled assistants who share his expertise in this highly specialized field.

Upon his arrival, he received a warm welcome from several high-profile figures, including His Excellency Dean Professor Hussein Abu El-Gheit, the esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Azhar University. Also present to greet him were Professor Sherief Ezzat, who has been presiding over the Middle East Association of Neurological Surgeons since 2017, and Professor Mohamed Hassan Mansour, the Head of the Neurosurgery Departments. Professor Abdo Mabrouk, the Director of Bab El Shaareya Hospital, along with a constellation of faculty from the neurosurgery department, also joined in welcoming Professor Hellinger.
